Customs clearance
Depends on equipment type and importer category
- Individuals — import for personal use, EAEU preferential duty rates
- Legal entities and sole traders — full customs duties, 20% VAT, exemptions may apply
- Construction equipment (HS codes 8429–8430) — duty from 5% to 15% of customs value
- Trucks (HS code 8704) — duty from 5% to 25% depending on payload capacity and age
